Together Ken and Becky Martins have worked closely in the landscape industry, operating a successful lawn and landscape company in Northeast Oklahoma. In 2010, they launched an exhaustive 2-year review of franchises in the green industry; ultimately selecting Weed Man due to the company culture, excellent values, great training, and industry-leading products.
Ken is originally from Afton, OK. He has his bachelor’s degree in accounting, is a Project Management Professional, and has his Private Pilot’s License. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and is now a proud Alum and fan- GO COWBOYS! Together, he and his wife, Becky, have 7 children and 18 grandchildren- and we can’t forget their Bassett Hound, Harley! In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and spending quality time with his friends and family.
Becky attended Oklahoma University, and has experience in business development, sales, and customer service. She is involved with the Owasso Chamber of Commerce and the Native American Indian Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and honoring her native American heritage.
Scott joined the Weed Man Tulsa team in November of 2014, adding on to his over 15 years of experience in the lawn and landscaping industry, covering everything from lawn maintenance and landscaping to irrigation and weed control/ fertilization. Scott has a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a certificate in Turfgrass Management from the University of Georgia. When not at work, he can be found out spending time with his wife and kids or working in his own lawn. Also, Scott is an avid Oklahoma State Cowboys fan, cheering them on in just about every sport.
Michelle is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and she started here at Weed Man in 2020. Naturally, being from Wisconsin, she roots for the Green Bay Packers. Michelle is an animal lover! She has a 6-year-old Holland Lop bunny named Ziggy, and she took in a stray kitten who is now 6 months old named Robin. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters, cooking, and baking.
Noe is from southwest Oklahoma. He moved to Tulsa after graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Engineering Technology. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and playing disc golf. He also enjoys cheering for all Oklahoma Sooner sports and the OKC Thunder. He has a pup named Luna that enjoys playing fetch and eating any leftovers.
Mike’s family originally comes from Russia, and he is the youngest of 7 boys. He was born and raised in Oregon and is a proud husband and father of one. He started with Weed Man in 2023. Mike has his bachelor’s degree in business administration; was an Electrical Journeyman for 4 years in Oregon and has also had successes in entrepreneurship. He is a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and he enjoys spending his free time with his wife and son around their 5-acre property, exercising in their home gym, hunting, and playing sports.
Shelby was born and raised in Oregon and started here at Weed Man in 2023. She is a proud wife and mother of one sweet little boy. She was previously a licensed Home Inspector. Together with her husband, Mike, they owned and operated a successful Home Inspection business. She is a homeschool mom, and enjoys hiking, gardening, and tending to their 8 free-range chickens in her free time.
Addie was born and raised in Oklahoma and is currently going to school to pursue her degree in Business Management and Supply Chain. She has been a proud employee at Weed Man since 2023. If she is not working or doing homework, she can normally be found with her nose in a book, a mug of tea in hand, and one of her cats, Frenchie, or Rizzo, in her lap. Addie is the fourth generation to live on her family’s 40 acres of land and can often be caught walking across the pasture to cook with her mom or share whatever she made for dinner.
